Maintenance Mode update:
-The “Fees Earned” tab of the Rewards page in Sovryn Alpha has been put into maintenance mode. An issue was discovered that is causing rewards claiming transactions to fail if the user did not have any stake on the staking contract during the first 100 checkpoints for a given asset being claimed.
-We are now working on two updates to fix this issue: next week, we will have a frontend update that will enable us to lift maintenance mode on the “Fees Earned” tab, and provide a critical warning to affected users and prevent them from making the failing transaction.
-We are also working on a smart contract update that will fix the underlying issue so that these users will be able to claim their rewards without issue. We do not have an estimate for when the smart contract update will be available yet, but we will follow up once we have that information.
-While maintenance mode is enabled, and for those users specifically affected by the checkpoints issue, rewards will continue accruing on the smart contract as expected and will be available for claiming as soon as the relevant issues are fixed.
